Customer Success Intern, Microbiomics

Job Summary:

Zymo Research is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Services, Microbiomics team! In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring great customer experience as well as supporting seamless operation. Your contributions will ensure the delivery of high-quality results to a wide range of services customers from academia to industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responding to customer inquiries utilizing pre-approved formats and generate quotes with NetSuite. Answer general questions regarding Microbiome service and microbiology.
• Ensure projects have all necessary documents correctly submitted. Coordinate with customers for sample submission process.
• Ensure correct report and invoice delivery in timely manner.
• Assist in creating input files for bioinformatic analysis.
• Communicate with customers promptly and effectively when issues arise. Resolve and document any problem specimens.
• Assist in streamlining customer success process regarding customer inquiry response, system tracking, lead processing, reporting, and invoicing.
• Technical support for incoming customer inquiries.
• Work closely with internal subject matter experts, product managers, marketing, and manufacturing microbiome product and services related technical details.
• Project presentation to upper-level management, technical review committee, marketing, and sales organization

Education and Experience:

• AS or BS in Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or related field.
• Some experience in molecular biology and microbiology is preferred (including PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, gel electrophoresis, nucleic acid purification and NGS library prep)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to details and accuracy.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Compensation:

The estimated base compensation range for this position is $20 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
